OVERVIEW
This poster design is actually a personal project. Over many years I have owned antique bicycles and currently have a 1927 CCM Cleveland Bicycle. I have been fascinated both by the bikes themselves but the branding and advertisements for this company. I studied ads dating all the way back to the late 1890s and created this poster layout using the content from multiple sources. All of the content has been pulled directly from actual ads. The bike tire illustration is a recreation of an ad from the early 1900s. I recreated the logo and other fonts by hand using Adobe Illustrator.
As part of the Adobe Illustrator pre-release group, I had the opportunity to create this entire poster using my iPad prior to its official launch. It was a lot of fun to create this design. All illustrations were created using Adobe Fresco.
